Head machining price quote?
Would anyone happen to know how much it would cost roughly to mill a cylinder head like let's say an iron Vortec head with 62cc chambers down to 58cc?
The reason I'm asking is cause I have an LG4 (Hence the name)(Cough) which is of course a 305 POS.
I'm looking into the GM iron vortec heads and if the price difference into still less after machining then I will stick with those and not the world products S/R torquer heads.

Why not phone a few local machine shops for prices.
They are the ones that will be doing the work, ask them.

It's too late in the night and I'm trying to move as fast as possible.
The whole car is bare sheet metal and I'm getting my front and rear Trans Am bumpers tommorow and the side skirts are comin next week,
I'm ordering the whole top end of my engine within less than 24 hours.
That's how much I'm rushing right now.
But hopefully it will be money well spent when I'm done.

Well, rushed jobs tend to screwup. Since your car is stripped
down to bare metal I think you have time to phone tommorow.
Don't assume your Vortecs are 62 cc's as some sources
publish. I cc'd mine at 64cc's. By the way do not use Kmotion K-700 valve springs. They are a real let down. Good Luck.
If you're in a hurry you might want to consider Wheeler Motorsports. They offer Vortec heads in different levels of preperation. Check it out.
