Howdy guys, I've got a random question. I recently finished turning my 305TBI into a 5-speed instead of the original automatic. Everything works, its a pleasure to drive, life is good. However, When I put the stick into reverse my reverse lights do not go on. I did plug the little connecter which I assumed was for the reverse lights into the transmission, and my bulbs are not burnt out. Do I have a reasonably big problem on my hands, or is there just something simple that I am missing caused by the fact that I swapped my transmission over? There is another connter, w/ 4 pins that I'm not using b/c the T5 doesn't have any place to put it, is that something I need?

The reverse light connector has a blue and a green wire... is that what you plugged in?

 

That is exactly what I plugged in. Is there a way to test the system with that connector? By closing the circuit, or giving it current or some such thing?
