Well, actually I just need some parts (no classifieds board?) if anyones got any laying around. I know you do. I need a smog pump AND diverter valve and the metal tube that comes out of the back of the pump. Any thing related to this system I probably need. And it needs to be off a TPI 350-preferably an 88 unless another year uses the SAME system. Im willing to pay shipping and any reasonable price for the stuff. thanks

 

well I purchased a reman pump from the local parts shop for like 25 bucks the rest of the stuff you can get from the junkyard or from GM....of course I would also check your local parts store as well....I think the pumps/diverter valves are pretty much the same for all SBC's

does your block still have the brackets? are you on a v-belt or serp setup?

 

not really any good junkyards around here. The guys over at GM want $375 for just the diverter valve. no joke. I just about passed out. So I figured since there are hundreds of posts in here of people removing their smog equip Im sure some of it has to be layin around takin up someones valuable space. Im just tryin to help them get their space back, you see. And on top of all that, I have a much better chance of finding an entire system off 1 vehicle this way which would provide all the parts I need and they wouldnt be mismatched. Hopefully.
