First off, engine is an l98. My car hesitates when I take off at a normal/slow start. Doesn't seem to do this while starting fast. This happens all the time, not just when the car is started.

When I step on the gas, the car will start to accelerate just a little, then the engine will kinda die off like it's about to stall, then kick back in and run normal. If it matters, this hesitation is amplified when the AC is on.

when was the last time you had a tuneup? clean your injectors, check your plugs, cap, coil, rotor, fuel filter etc...

 

kurt86iroc i was looking at your q-mile time with that lg4 i see that you did exhaust work now if you want tobe in the low 15's you put a good performer edelbrock intake with there carb 600 and there crome filter right there you will see 15 flat even better with the headers and if you really want some good numbers like 14 .5's you need to change the cam also just letting you no dude

 

yeah, my times would be a lot better if my trans shifted into 3rd at full throttle. i have to let off at the top of 2nd so it shifts. also, i have terrible traction off the line due tom a 2.73 open rearend. trans and 3.42's will put me in the 15's. then, cam, heads, intake wil put me in the low 14's hopefully....
