I have a 84 camaro with a 350. I know they didn't put 350's in 84 camaro's, so this is not the original engine. My question is can I tell the year engine and possibly what it came out of by my engines vin #. WHere at on the engine is this normally at??? Makes it a pain in the ***, I just bought plug wires and I bought them for an 84, but they are alot longer than the other wires I had on it. Any help would be appreciated.:hail:

the same pn for the wires will fit a lot of differant applications, so the length is bound to be differant. there is a pad on the deck surface in front of the right side head with a number and on the surface on the back side of the engine, sort of a flange area where the trans or bell bolts up. get the number and run it on www.mortec.com
