I'm trying to take everything out of the engine bay so I can paint it, and I've removed every visible bolt holding the blower motor and heater box, but something down at the bottom is keeping it attached to the firewall. What is it? And how the heck am I supposed to get it off?

 

Look on the inside of the car about where the carpeting meets the blower case. If memory serves I think there are 1 or 2 screws that screw into the case from the inside.
