Any thoughts on a 1985 TA with all options 305 V8 160K original miles. Overall clean with some minor paint fade and interior has a few tears on the seats. Runs strong but isn't inspected. Guy wan'ts 1500.00

Is that a good price for a car in the northeast ?

Alot of miles for a car up here. Make sure their is no rust underneath from salt. All those miles they must have been driving in winter months.

Yeah check the wheel wells for rust. If it was winter driven, it cant be good for it.

Sounds good. As long as its mechanically sound. I paid 2400 back in '92 for an 85 TA. It was an LG4 auto but it was loaded and had the deluxe two-tone interior with the overhead console. It had 87,000 on it and when I sold it in '96, it was still running with 140,000 mi. And I drove it HARD!
