low air flow

When I run the air conditioning I get a code for low air flow. It onlf happens when the air is on. It takes about 15-20 mintues for the code to pop up. It happens every time. But only when the air is on. It is an 85 tpi Trans Am. What can I do to correct the problem. The IAC is fine and clean.
Thanks !

if you have the air on, and you are at a stop with it in drive, what is it idling at? Try checking your timing, and check to see if your MAF is ok.

It idles at about 650-700 rpm. The MAf is fine. I have a computer to check all the sensors and everything is in range. The car runs well even when the light comes on. It just wants more air.
I have a k&n air filter.
