which pistons?

I am fixin' to build a 406. I will be using 5.7" rods. So I need new pistons anyway, and i want something rated for higher hp. But I want to know, which pistons are better for the price.

Keith Black or Speed Pro?
Or if you know of other affordable pistons...

I would like to buy Ross but cant shell out that much more money. So what are your thoughts?

Which Speed Pro's? The cast or hypereutectic's? It all depends on what kind of performance you want out of the engine. If you don't plan on running nitrous or a blower, either will do, if you do, go with the TRW forged. Those are owned by Federal Mogul, the same company that owns Speed Pro, Fel-Pro, Sealed Power, and Sterling. If you don't plan on running a blower or nitrous but plan on running around 10:1 compression, use the hypereutectics (Keith Black). If you don't run too much compression, and don't plan on racing, run the Speed Pro's cast pistons, they're cheaper and still do the job.
