ECM fusible link off the battery keeps blowing
What would cause the fusible link to keep blowing? I checked if the wire is grounding out and its good.Could a bad ECM blow the link?

Also if it helps I just did a head swap from hell to some trickflow 23*.I had nothing but problems passenger side header cracked and was worped had to buy a new one, then the air tubes on the cats were so rusted they fell off and then the grounds on the back of the passenger side head were loose and causing a real bad idle now the damn fusable link keeps blowing. Anything I could have messed up during the swap?Im starting to get real pissed this has been nothing but a big head-ache.

Try using a battery cable to gound the block to the fender. That will definitely ground the electrical system.
E-Man,
The ECM main power should also be the power source for the electric fuel pump (at least it is in all the TPI cars, I've looked at). There should also be a 20A fuse in this line - on the right fender in 'Maros, on the left radiator support in 'Birds.

Vader that fuse is OK.This is what I did about a month ago I was reseting the ECM when I went to pull the the connector apart it just fell to pieces. So I cut the ends off and installed a regular water proof inline fuse.It was fine for about a month till the head swap. The weird thing is when the fuse blows the car will still run its a little ruff but it runs and no check engine light comes on.Do you think that if the grounds that connect to the back of the heads are bad It could cause the problem?Another problem Im having is when I rev it in park it will back fire some times mis adjusted valves?
