edelbrock airgap vs. weiand stealth
edelbrock airgap vs. weiand stealth
hey guys,,
I just swapped out my edelbrock airgap intake for a weiand stealth and it seems to be worse not better. Should it be this way? I thought that I would see some low end gains from the stealth and gain the hood clearance. I got it installed and put everything back to how it was and found that it is worse... So i figured some things needed to be tweaked a little. I reset the idle mixture screws on my carb for maximum idle and got the timing set again. Still seems to be really sluggish on the low end. When i get moving (finally) it seems to be alright like when I am going 60+ mph. On top of all that my exhaust is much quieter.
Does all this seem right?
thanks,
Ben
