hesitation almost stalls at lights

drove the 86 305 tpi today and it made a weird hesitation when i accelereated now my car has 26 000 miles this reminds me about my 94 turbo diesal the injector pump went same feeling .,

Remember my old back MPFI Firebird? When my MAF sesor went on me, I had the same problem...

Hard to say. Are you getting a SES light? If so i can de code it for you. steeve should be able to do it aswell....

My friend's 1995 Jeep Wrangler has been doing the same thing... hesitation on acceleration. We diagnosed the problem yesterday as a bad TPS sensor. I'd recommend what Mr. Jordan says; scan for codes to determine what actually failed.

Also that problemo is typical when MAF loses it on alpha-N systems like yours. Engrish: check the MAF sensor.
