Captured Fan Belt size????

Captured Fan Belt size????
I am working on an 84 camaro with a 355 small block in it.
Originally when I installed the motor it would throw the fan belt that was routed crank, water pump alternator everytime you hit the gas hard.
I solved the problem by installing a captured belt from the waterpump directly to the crank using a 6and 5/8 pulley on the crank that I got off of a 79 pontiac parrisiene. I found the belt size required in the how to hotrod a small block chevy book that I have since lent to a friend.
Belt Broke today. No belt, no part number no go.
Anyone know what size the belt has to be.
