10:1 compression w/58cc pistons for under $200?
I'm looking for a good set of pistons that will give me not much more thant 10:1 compression with a 58cc head. I'd like them to be under $200. I could get the Silv-O-Lite H3437 for around $150. Any of you guys think those are any good? And those should work with my stock rods, right? It's an 88 350 truck motor that these would be going into.

OK, I ordered those pistons... Problem is, I hear conflicting answers... Do I have to file the rings that I get or do I just use the rings with the supplied gap? I've heard to file them .040" more, my father is telling me that Summit should have the rings meant for the pistons (but they're all crazy chrome moly ones for $120+). So... What should I do?
The H345NP piston allows you to run the standard end gap unlike the KB pistons. It would be a good idea to square up a ring in the bore and see what you got. Get a set of sealed power E251x cast rings or E251K moly rings for your bore size and you should be ok.
