Steering Column

Guys I think I may have to replace my steering colum. Something is broke letting the wheel shake in my hand. It is in the end with the steering wheel. The tilt is solid Could the turn signal switch cause this. Any ideas on where it may be broke before I replace the entire thing?

Thanks

it's not the TS, it's already broke take it apart and see what you get into. other than the bearings and the tilt joint i don't think there's much else in there to let them move.

Re: Steering Column

Ive been searching through the threads to see if I can find my problem and this seems to be the closest. Just in case, here is whats happening: I have a tilt wheele, and it seems like something is lose where the tilt connects to the column. Ive driven the car around like this with no problems, but the wheele moves around all over the place: not just up and down but left and right as well. I could use some help with what might cause it and even better yet, how to take it apart to fix it.
