Computer advances timing 80 Degrees HELP!!

Ever since I did a head cam swap and changed a bunch of sensors The car has 1-3 degrees of knock retard at a 0-100 run but at 40 and downshifting around 3,000 I am getting 30 Degrees knock and the car is VERY sluggish My diacom is reading out that the computer advanecd it 80 degrees during those runs when i have downshifted.. This is with the stock chip and the custom chip, hot and cold plugs, various types of gaps. Fuel is no problem. .950 02 reading. Tried new ECM , new EGR, I have a New Knock sensor on there. No codes. Only think i can think of is the ESC

350 TPI TF Heads 9.5 comp xtreme cam.

This is a total shot in the dark but here goes.
The fact that you're not throwing any coses is puzzling because if it is cranking in 80 degrees of timing that should put the advance beyond the limit that the ecm reads as being "within acceptable parameters".
I had one that did simular to what you decribe...but it was throwing a code each time. I don't recall what the code # was but it said that the rerference signal from the distributor was out of range or no signal from esc.
The engine was a fresh rebuild, everything new on it. I chased grounds and found all of them OK.
I tried a new module, no change. I went in to a parts swapping frenzy trying to flush this gremlin and nothing was helping.
Well as was making some "adjustments" while the engine was running I got Zapped HARD by the HEI.... I was not holding the spark plug wire nor was I near the cap...
Anyway come to find out....this NEW set of spark plug wires had one defective wire in the bunch and it was leaking voltage that was wreeking havoc with the ecm. I never got a spark jump out of the wire (until I moved close enough to it with my hand) but the stray voltage was emitting from it when it was running. The wire checked fine from a resistance standpoint, it just lacked the insulating characteristics required for proper operation.
Just something else for you to check.
Good luck.
