swapping in used fuel sender/pump, what parts to replace?
i just acquired a 91 Z28 parts car and i will be using its TPI fuel pump in my efi swap. what parts, if any, should i replace on the sending unit/pump before i put it in my car? i currently have an intank lg4 pump, will the wiring for it be sufficient for a tpi pump or should i run heavier gage wire?

i hear a stock pump is good for 400hp, i'm gonna be at 370 max. also, i'm on a budget and this is free. if worse comes to worse i'll swap it again later if i put more power on, i dont mind the work all that much. so do i need to replace anything?
not sure where you found that number but I was always told it would only support about 300-350. I know my 350 t/a responded well just from going to a 44gph pump and I was only running 13.9's with well under 400hp.
