Well, I like the new Cobras with the 380 hp supercharged engine. Very fast. It's a good thing that they are starting to make their engines with common parts among dispacement. That has cost Ford a fortune in lost sales to GM in the last 50 years.

I liked this one the best:
"ANYONE OUT THERE GETTING BEAT BY CAMAROS, BUILD A STROKER MOTOR AND SPRAY IT, YOUR TROUBLES WILL BE OVER."
Especially the all-caps.
Of course, it could just as easily be said, "Anyone out there getting beat by Mustangs, build a stroker motor and spray it, your troubles will be over."
Personally, I don't get into this "All Rustangs are junk", or "All Crapmaros are junk" stuff. The old saying still applies: "Tell me how much money you have, I'll tell you how fast you can go."
Without competition, we stagnate.
The best thing that happened to Detroit was Ricers.
I've put 9-second cars on the trailer at Bandimere.
Can we all just get along?

I am not a real big fan of mustangs. i see so many of them, and that just gets old. how many NICE third gens do you run into? as far as performance, i am somewhat impressed, but c'mon, 380 HP out of a Supercharged motor doesnt impress me. if it was NA that would be a different story. just my opinion, not meant to offend anyone.
If I had the chance, I'd pick up a late 80s or early 90s Mustang GT. They're quick little straight-line cars and the GTs look pretty good.
All cars have their positives and negatives and almost everyone will be biased towards whatever they happen to own. I'd say 80% of the haters of one or the other have never owned both
(I mean owned; driving your buddy's doesn't count).
It used to be that Mustangs cost more to build, but now it seems like they're cheaper. Take Edelbrock's EFI intakes for these cars. The Mustang's intake is about $500 compared to a TPI intake running at $700.
And what's up with the 10-bolt rear-ends we usually find under our cars?
But I have to say in the end that I like the exterior styling and the handling better over in this camp.
Here's a lil toast for the Ford guys over at the corral.

Yeah, but that is 390 hp out of a 4.8 liter engine. That's around 1.5 hp per cubic inch, or thereabouts. Impressed now?

Not a huge fan of the stang, but i love the old shelby's, the boss 302 and 429, the mach 1's (69-70 that is), the new cobra's are beasts and make some massive power, and the cheap body style foxbodies with the 5.0 are a massive sleeper. I am not a big ford fan so they tend to get hurt by association in my mind but all in all some decent cars, just hate the new body style, the wheel arches make em look like they are lifted. You want to see something that will make you drool, try a 2000/1? Cobra R rolling through town, now that is beauty.
