hey guys...so yesterday i drove and i noticed at idle (at a light) my rpms would jump up to about 1000 rpms....just kinda like a stutter...then back down...i mean it was really noticable....even when moving a little higher in the rpms and even in neutral (auto tranny) .......does this sound like an ignition/ plug/ firing problem??????im at college now and dont drive daily

 

sounds more like iac, tps, FP, or vacuum problem to me. might help just a bit if you took the time to tell us what sort of car and engine it is.

 

sorry ede....its a 91 3.1 firebird...auto trans...hope that helps....maybe you can explain some of that stuff...tps, fp and all that, im not sure what that is. thanks
