What else to try.....

before I grind a boxed end wrench down really thin to get the intake bolt out beside the egr. Don't see how in the hell they could have torqued that one in with no room to spare.....Any other suggestions

open end line wrenchs are pretty strong and with stand a lot of torque. might try one, if you have them.

Axle/Gears: 10 Bolt 3.73

All my intake bolts are 12-point ARP's, so a ground-down box wrench was my only solution. Good for the tight clearance on the header bolts as well.
