oil pressure sender replacement
Hey guys,
I plan on changing the original oil pressure sender with the autometer oil pressure sender. Will I have to reconnect the factory wire to the sender, because I will be running an autometer electrical oil pressure gauge. Will I have any problems
with any functions of my car?

you should have no problems with anything dealing with the running of the car. obviously the dash gauge won't read properly but you will have the new gauge. the only thing the oil pressure sender is hooked to is the gauge or idiot light (if you have one).

I was reading my manual and it said that the factory wire that connects to the sender activates the fuel pump switch when a certain pressure is acheived. Should I splice the factory wire with the new sender wire to avoid having any problems with the fuel system.
