heres the situation. I put on new heads TF's cam and a new knock sensor. over the winter and have been batteling this probelm ever since. While idleing down the street and no gas the knock retard bounces around from 4-5-0-2-1-4-5-0-1 without me giving gas. on a 0-60 it flys up to 3000 then wham 25 degrees of knock on the scanner it read 0-0-0-0-0-25-31-34-12-6-7-8-3-2-0 on a down shift on the highway at 70 I get 18 degrees of knock cruising at 40 and nailing it I get 31 degrees of knock and the car just screams but doesnt move. This is with the stock chip ,custom chip, new esc, new ecm, rebuilt distributer. Nothing changes it. No exhaust leaks Timing is at 6* I've even went to 0* with no change. I am at a total loss. I cant even get on the car some times 0 knock then 1 second later I hit it again and its at 20 degrees I'll hit it again and it'll read 31 I'll hit it again at like 35 MPH and it'll show 0 knock and the car will take off. In the chip we have 30 total timing. I run 94 octane plugs are good gap at .035 Only culprit I can think of is the new knock sensor I put in.

 

BTW Runs better when HOT at like 200 Less detonation

 

swap sensers and wrap the threads with 5 or 6 wraps of teflon tape
