TBI and edelbrock compatibility
I was looking into buying a...
Edelbrock ALuminum Performer RPM Air Gap lower intake for the vortec heads.
And I was wondering, for temporary use, if the TBI would bolt up to it. I have seen the edelbrock intakes for TBI applications, but was wondering if it still works on one that is supposed to be for like 4-bbls? Thanks guys.

You can use a TBI to carb adaptor to make that work; you can either fabricate one or Holley makes them. The biggest problem I can see though is that the air gap will cause hood interference. Do you have a cowl hood?

I was going to ask that too. *** I hate that. Will probably just cut a hole in tha bitch. have no moolah for a cowl... 
But yeah, I think I am just going to buy a 600 holley or sumfin to stuff in there. What if I used a low profile air cleaner?

Just dont get that little edelbrock triangle one. You know the one that looks like a metal grate with a foam pad under it. I know someone who got that. The carb backfired and the air cleaner caught fire.
