rear hatch motor trouble...
my hatch was only partially closed and not engaged to the locking mechanismn when the motor retracted and now i cant get the hatch to close engage the locking mechanism because the motor retracted it too far. Not only that but i cant get it to extend back out. Basically my hatch is stuck open.
Does anyone know how can i get the motor to extend back out?
BTW, My hatch release switch is no longer functional. The prev. owner decided to rewire the interior his own way and i havnt finished rewiring everything back to spec. yet.

I don't have a pic, but take the cover off, and there should be a lever that you push down and will raise the motor up.
