Damper removal/installation

Ok...time to replace the damper.........

My engine shop is 550 km away from me, and my damper cuts into my oil lines so I wont be able to drive the car to him....

Do I need any special tools to do this?

anything else to thing off?

Thanks....................

You'll need a harmonic balancer puller. Autozone allows you to check them out.

But I guess there are no Autozone's in Sweden?

you'd need a puller to remove it and an installer to put it back on

Don't ever use the center crank bolt to pull the balancer back onto the crank... you'll hear a "snap", and you'll be screwed. You can make a balancer installation tool for cheap using threaded rod.
