ok, i was looking at an 89 iroc as a replacement for my 86. its an L98 with the 2.77 rear (no G92 option). my question is, how much slower were the 350 non-G92 cars than the 350 cars with the G92 (dual cats and 3.23 rear) option?? is it worth waiting for a G92 car??

 

i'd say don't wait if this car is what you want then grab it. you can always make a clone g92 or mod it to make up any preformance defeciencies.

 

Hmm, I wouldn't just wait out for a G92, unless it was the 305 engine.
