Head work
I just came into a free opportunity to do some major engine work on my car and i was just wondering what you guys think about having my cylinder heads cleaned and that sort of thing, what would you guys think about that?

Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Not TBI heads. L98 perhaps. But, swirlports (assuming they are swirlport heads) aren't worth any kind of reworking for performance.

I know this masuse shop that did head work. I mean they.....wait your talking about cars oh ok! Well cant you just have them dipped in paint thinner or lacquer thinner? That is the usual way to clean up parts.
