I was just wondering why there isnt a board to just talk and bs to other thirdgeners. Everyone posts messages in here to talk about whatever and it seems like it would be nice to have a board just to talk about:
"hey, did anyone see the raiders kick the crap out of the seahaws"
or
"What is a great movie to take my girl to go see before I go hunting for races"

There was a nontech board a while back and the problem is that some people didnt understand that nontech doesnt mean "Anything goes" and a certian Moderator didnt understand the difference between personal opinion and board rules. I was a Mod on the non tech board and I remember when and why it was removed and even though I miss it I dont blame Dirk one bit for getting rid of it , the amount of **** he had to deal with from certain children wasnt worth it.

 

There are other boards that people have where you can do that... this one is for tech stuff, those are for more BS type things... nethirdgen.org is one

 

This board is tech only because when you allow people to talk freely it just causes society to degenerate. On the internet, at least. We've already had enough problems without a non tech board.

 

Well I am glad to hear that they tried it, but that sucks that some kids ruined it.
I know that there are others, I just enjoy talking with the people on here.

what they said. thirdge.org is tech only now, but on occasion a little nontech slips past.

 

While it isn't really a bulletin board, there IS a chat room at TGO suitable for that sort of thing.
