Warning light: INFL REST HELP

Engine: LS1

Transmission: T56

Axle/Gears: 2.73

Warning light: INFL REST HELP

I bought my 1991 RS 305 about 1 1/2 months ago. I noticed that the "INFL REST" light is always on. What does this mean? Thanks!

Your airbag is defective somehow. The light means the system is failing a self-test. I'd take the car in to a dealer.

"INFL REST" is sort of equivalent to a "check engine soon" light but of instead of for the engine, it's for the airbag system. are many different reasons why the light could be on. best bet is to bring your car to the dealer or a well equipped independent shop that has airbag diagnostic equipment.
