Mysterious Camshaft

Here are the numbers off the cam.. the funny thing is that they all overlap each other... so one set says.. 01G21 then1312 and then in big bold print JC BL and they all overlap each othe like a bowl of spaghetti I was told from the guy I bought the engine from that it was Wolverine Blue Racer Cam dur 208/212 450/462 and the part number was WG5051 but i don't see that number anywhere on the cam... any info would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

pn#WG-5051 is that cam but it should be clearly marked
on one of the ends.

Measure the cam lobes like in the picture.
Subtract the smaller # from the bigger# and X 1.5 will be the valve lift.

Your best bet to help id the cam is to phone or email
Crane Cams .

You could also find a Speed shop or Engine builder
in your area that has a CAM DOCTOR.

A Cam Doctor is a device that will measure your camshaft lobes and produce (computer printout) a cam card (specs) for ya.

You can download a Wolverine Blue racer cam selection program
(DOS) from this site, It is called cmselect.zip
Just unzip it into a directory and run select.exe and follow the menus

Gerrit, if you take the cam to Brant Performance, they can measure the lobes for you to give you the lift numbers, if you don't have a mic to measure it. I've got a vernier at home that would be able to measure the lobes. If you don't have it measured up by Saturday, bring it with you to St. Thomas and I'll bring the vernier.
