Smoke?

When I turn on my GTA sometimes it puffs a ball of smoke out of the muffler and then stops, and you can see very little that it is puffing smoke through the muffler sometimes when i turn it on and it does not puff smoke, i also put my hand over the pipes and got little black dots on my hand...what does that mean???? No offense, but try complete sentences. They're much easier to understand. As far as smoke on startup, that could be a number of things. Likely worn valve guides and/or seals. If you see smoke at idle or when you're driving you could have other problems as well or instead. The black dots on your hand could be from burning oil or even just built up carbon in the exhaust getting blown out. After you turn your car off water vapor in the exhaust will condense and turn into liquid, and then that is probably blowing out as black looking dots on the ground or your hand.

yeah, im going to say valve seals and/or valve stem seals. if your piston rings are shot, it will blow smoke when you give it gas and most of the time its running.
