Screw in rocker studs
How do i know if i have screw in rocker studs, what do they look like? I have 3998993 heads with 1.94" intake on a 3970010 350.

There are 2 types... the performance type has a hex head to install it, that also holds the guide plates. The stock repair type for a pulled out pull-out stud is just a stud, with no hex; you use 2 nuts to put it in.
Los "Hecho En Mexico" 993s don't come with screw-ins, they have the pull-out kind. They also come from the factory with regular 1.94" intake valves, as do the vast majority of 350 heads.

There are not made in mexico 993 they are from 73. They definitly don't have a hex head. So what do the pressed in studs look like.
The pull-out studs (or as you call them, pressed-in) have a straight body all the way into the head. The "replacement" type screwed studs come in two flavors - one with a hex collar and one with a swaged (bulged) collar).
