wires everywhere!

well to get my car ready for the 383 which will be ariving in 4 weeks, i wanted to get all that wire/computer crap out of there. there is way to much crap for me and i have no clue what is what. i think it is easier to just take everything out and run new wires since i want new gauges anyway. i did a search and came up with nothing. can anyone tell me a site or something on which wires i can definitely get rid of. the search rendered no actual answer to my question. thanx in advance

start with the ecm and work from there, or better yet the aldl and trash all the wires from them.
