what should IAC value be at highway speeds??

what should IAC value be at highway speeds??

say around 70MPH holding a constant speed.. what should the value be? or does it matter since the throttle is open anyways?

Actually, it should be pretty wide open when you are cruising. It dashpots itself so when you let off the gas and come to a stop, the engine will idle back down slowly. I really don't know the number you should expect from a scan tool, but I'd guess it's pretty high, like around a hundred or so.
