it sounds like a fuel supply problem.to test for spark i pull the front driver's side plug wire, stick a screw driver in the plug wire and lay the handle of the screw driver across the strut mount so the shaft of the screwdriver is about 1/4 inch from bare metal(i pop the plastic cover off the strut and use the threaded end of the strut) balance this there(don't hold it or you'll get zapped) now hit the key! you will see the spark arcing to ground from the screw driver shaft. they have testers at the auto parts store, these are just sparkplugs with a little clamp attached that you connact your plug wire to.

well last night i did the test to see if its getting fire and we'll i got a few jolts of electricity in my arm, so i guess that means its getting fire. and this morning i just unbolted one of the fuel lines from the fuel pump and turned the ignition to "ON" and no fuel came out so i guess its safe to say the fuel pump is bad, right?
and thanks for all the info and help
