car wont start in rain????WTF?

ok ok i admit it, this is not for an f body.....its really my buddy's MG, but i figured you guys are the best, you could figure it out!

so he tells me whenever it is wet....raining, even the morning dew!......his car wont start. if it is dry or warmed up, it starts fine. the hood has the seal........WTF could it be???

any ideas are welcome!!!

Axle/Gears: 7.5" Auburn 4.10 Posi-Traction
Moisture in the ignition.
Inspect the coil top, coil wire, distributor cap and rotor for flaws or cracks. Check the ignition wires.
Get some good ignition wire spray. Clean off the parts and coat
them with it.
A little WD 40 or Rust Check sprayed on the coil and distributor cap and wires will get ya going in the rain in the mean time.
try it.

yeha i think F-BIRD'88 hit the tack on the head.. my brother had a similar problem, even alittle bit of moisture like dew on the points / cap and rotor wont make the spark needed..

water and electricity is a no no
