car running like crap when cold......
ok guys. its started to get cold again.. and the past few days its probably been around 60* (thats cold here in texas..) and when i start my car in the morning it starts. revs to about 1200 and then like imediatly drops down and stalls or almost stalls.. unless i hold the gas and let it rev for about a min.. then it will hold an idle.... the CTS is pretty new so i know its not that.. but i will double check it on the scan tool tomorrow, along with IAC value.. but one thing i have noticed is when i start to drive off.. i have to rev the engine pretty high and slip the clutch alot. but the engine always wants to die as soon as tap the gas. so i have to press it quite a bit in order for it to actualy rev without acting like its going to stall.. what could the problem be??
oh and also i just installed a t-56 and removed the stock shifter.. so i think the ecm always thinks im in drive or whatever.. so wouldn't that keep the engine from idling as high as it normaly did with the auto in there...
