Brand New Edel Carb farting

Why is my new carburetor farting after I cut the car off? I use 89 gas is that a problem?



small black 305

no modifications but this carb so far.

I'm in Detroit. Anybody out there who knows about edelbrocks that can tune my carb right?:hail:

Does that mean you still have the factory distributor?

Yup, I made the mistake of using a vac. adv dist. once with the stock carb,and gave me 10mpg.

Any vacuum advance kind. I got an HEI Accel one for about $200.
