coolant disapearing
k i fill my coolant, and like 2 weeks later it's gone. it is running warm because my front air dam is broken and i have the trans am front on. i'm putting the new air damn in 2night. could me running hot suck the coolant out. i already changed the heater care, water pump and all the hose's from the radiator. and there are no leaks any where. i run at 220 like all the time how hot is that. should cool down alot with front air damn right?
220 is hardly a desirable temperature, but its pretty common with 3rd gens.
Does your car smoke alot by any chance? you notice any leaks? How about the thermostat housing? is there alot of marks around it that look like burnt up liquid?

When I worked at kragen I had this guy coming in that told me his coolant and oil had been evaporating from his car - but it didn't burn any coolant or oil. It doesn't make sense otherwise, but I couldn't convince him and ended up selling him all kinds of stupid additives that did absolutely nothing, and I told him that too.
There are three things that could be wrong. 1. your cooling system was not full to begin with because it was only filled up, not run to get air out of the system. 2. you have a leak 3. it's burning.
220 is pretty hot, but you're not really hurting anything unless you add another 30 degrees to that for an extended period.
