No ignition

Today i went to my car and turned the key and nothing happened. Then i checked the battery connections and there was nothing wrong.Just in case i've removed them and cleaned the contact surfaces, again nothing happened. Then i've checked the grounding and it was ok too.Battery is charged and everything was working fine yesterday.I parked the car yesterday night and today it's doing this. When i turn the key there's no sound, no lights, nothing. It's all dead.Any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks.

Sometimes a batt will develope a bad connection internally between the cells. It will test ok with a low draw like a voltmeter, but when any real load is applied, the bad internal conn will open and everything goes dead.
(This can produce a spark inside the batt and can possibly cause a batt explosion. Stand back a bit while doing this check.)
Check batt voltage at the posts while someone cranks eng. If it looks good, then goes to "0" when a load is applied, battery's bad.

Another quick test:
Turn on headlights.
If headlights come on, have someone crank eng while watching headlights.
If they don't change, there's an open circuit.(fuseable link, bad connection somewhere other than batt) Batt and batt connection probably ok.

If they go out completely,(or never come on) there's a bad conenction, at the batt most likely, or a bad batt.

Thanks for the response. There's no power at all.Nothing works. No lights nothing. There's a small window on the battery that you can check the condition.According to that the battery is good. After i cleaned the connections when i was hooking up the cables i also saw some sparks so i thought the battery was ok.We also tried to boost the battery just in case but nothing happened.I was thinking maybe my ignition switch went bad or somewhere a fuse or relay is busted.I'll give it a try with another batt tomorrow.

We tested the battery today and it's allright. The ignition seems to be working. But there's no electric.I know the igniton is working cuz i heard the seatbelt alert for 2 sec when i put the key in once. And even without the key my lights used to work now they're completely dead.

Check your connections at the starter end of the battery cab;e, and the fusible links.

Is the SES light and Security light illuminating for you in the key-on position?

If not, then you should check the 10-Amp ECM fuse at the junction box. If it popped then you could have the same issues. Check my posting "Help with VATS" as a reference point. Truth be told I have no idea why my car is doing that but I have a suspicion that firstly the 10A ECM fuse is not making good contact or the ECM wiring harness is not making good contact at the ECM or the firewall.

Thanks for all the replys and suggestions.I already checked the grounds and connections and cleaned them all.I didn't check any fuses or relays yet and i didn't know what to check.I'm gonna try them all tomorrow again and let you know what is going on.
