Cooling fan issues…

Twice in the last two weeks I have noticed my car getting hotter than normal while driving. Of course I stop to check everything and notice that the cooling fan is not running. After checking all of my fuses and what not, I decided to turn on my AC and of course my cooling fan turns on. Once I turn my AC off the cooling fan works normally. I have put over 700 miles on my car since it started having cooling fan problems so it’s not an everyday problem.

In addition I replaced cooling fan and temperature sensors less than a year ago. Furthermore I have a low temp cooling fan sensor and thermostat, everything kicks in at 180.

MY CAR: 1992 Chevy Camaro RS, TBI, V8 (slightly over one hundred thousand miles)

Any suggestions on what I should check or how I can solve this problem?

TP,

Does your car have a single fan or dual electrics? It makes a difference in how the system was wired.
