Fuel Gauge Probs?
today my mom was like, since you didnt get paid ill buy you a tank of gas. so i cruised to the gas station started filling, it stopped, and i put a little bit to make it even at $18.50. i got in the car and the gauge was only at 3/4, i was like wtf? i put an @$$ load of money in. then later my mom told me to go the store to pick up some stuff. get in the car and the guage is on full
could it be the sending unit, or what?

dont even bother with the stock fuel gauge...none of the gauges on the panel are accurate...the fuel will jump all over the place and be totally crazy...if u really want to fix it, ull probably need a new gauge that works

I just about got my whole gauge cluster switched over the the Auto Meter Phantoms, and the first thing I noticed after installing the new fuel gauge was how much it sloshes back and forth under braking and accelerating, I never paid that much attention with the stock gauge, but that baby dances now-must be poor baffles inside the tank.
