If I where too buy a 1985 T/A without an engine, what engine should I buy? It should be cheap but stromg!

 

Depends on what you consider cheap, and the performance you want... Do you have emission checks over there?

 

yes we do. just as much performance as an org. engine.

 

you could buy a complete tuned port 350 with computer and wiring for probably $1000 here in the states and rebuild it with some performance parts, i dont know how availability is in switzerland. or you can buy a crate engine from GM for $3000-3500US, shipping won't be cheap though
