Just courious what you did to re-route your stearing.
I keep toying with the idea of droping my buick 350x and trans in my bird.
My wagon will just get up and haul a$$ and in the bird, I guess my only problem would be traction. But the stearing would be in the way big time.
I like both cars how they are but the idea of doing a switch gets my fancy now and then.
2.8 5 speed in the wagon, 350x turbo400 in the bird.

BBC swaps don't need steering rerouted. When using the Hooker Supercomp headers, one of the tubes is pre-dented to clear the steering shaft.
At least it's not as bad as putting a V8 into an S-10. The steering shaft has to go between the header tubes.
Using a Buick, Olds, or Pontiac engine will also require a new transmission since those 3 engines (plus Caddy) have a different transmission bellhousing bolt pattern than Chev.
