more help - fuel pump wiring

Ok i have searched this but have not found what i need.

There are 3 wires going to my fuel pump. Now I know that one is ground, one power, and one for the fuel gauge. What I need to know is which is which. A search said tan wire with black stripe is the ground wire, but I dont have this wire on my car. My three wires are purple, black, and gray. Which is which?
Thanks
Brady

Well I'm not sure about the purple wire, but I know that black is ground and gray is the gas gauge...

Just for future reference and anybody searching this in days to come:

Black Wire: Ground
Purple Wire: Gas Gauge
Gray Wire: Power

I tested them, thats what it is.
