T-Top Rust!
It seems that every T-Top car I see has rust on the floor underneath the T-Tops where they leak... How many of you guys with T-Tops have the same problem? I actually think I'll only buy a hardtop when I'm looking for another 3rd gen.
No leaks here,my 85 T/A didn't leak[sold] . My 87 T/A doesn't now[current] .Once in a while , in very hard rain , might see a drop or two from back hatch[on seat not much at all].I've never had bad prob with t-tops [ only cars i owned with t-tops were T /A' s, can't speak for other makes ] .

My 91 is pretty rusted under the ttops/headliner.
I'm sure eventually I'll have to replace the whole top on the car. That car has leaked pretty bad though, sometimes water even pooling on the seats and floorboards during a good rain, before I replaced the stripping. But there's no rust on the floorpan at all, thank goodness.
My 92 formula has ZERO rust under the ttops, but a ton on the floorpan. That car didn't leak much, but the previous owner had left it in a field for about 3 years, which explains the rust on the bottom of the car.

mines really rusty. i dremeled off the rust down to the metal and painted black rustoleom on there. doesnt look great but better than a pile of red rust.
i have seen new pieces on ebay or even boneyard that you could replace that whole middle piece with.
t-tops look way cooler, IMHO.
