please someone help with a few questions!!
I have a 86 305 engine vin code G. The L69 motor. i need the torque specs for the mains and the rods.
Also, does nayone know what the max lift is on the stock valve springs?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. THANK YOU!

you ought to buy a manual and not trust me for it, but the mains are 70 ft/lbs and the rods are 45 ft/lbs. if you change cams buy springs to match, doesn't matter what cam the stock springs aren't very good and they get old and tired anyway. mt limit is .45 on factory springs, but i always change them so it doesn't really matter.

L69 V8 9.5:1 5.0 (305) 190@4800 240@3200
springs are good to .470 or so supposedly, but MOST on here will say anytime you go with a larger cam, you better replace the springs.
