Why do ICM's blow one after another?

Hello guys,
My Camaro 3.1 keeps blowing its ignition control modules, about one per month. I am wondering why it keeps doing this, because it is angering me. Is it an electrical short in the system? Is it my Sony Head Unit not liking my car? Are my spark plugs too old? let me know whats up.

Do you mean the HEI amplifier/switching module in the distributor base, or the ESC?

if it's the part insdie the distributor you're talking about are you using the grease when you r&r it? if not that may be your problem. as a rule any eletrical part will fail because of heat or excessive voltage.
