Maf keeps going out .

About 2 months ago , I replaced my MAF sensor . Sence then I have put 3 maf's on it . They were all bad . I know this because I tested it with a MAF sensor tester , plus after I would get a new one , the car would run great for a few weeks before my MAF would start to take a crap on me again .Now Im thinking , there must be something wrong to keep making my MAF sensors go bad like that .What do you guys think ? Thanx !

In addition to this , I have also knowticed some oil in the airtube , which runs behind the maf sensor to .( my maf sensor is located right after my air filters .

I've never seen a MAF sensor tester, how does that work? You have changed your power and burnoff relays, right?

No , I have not changed the relays , but could that keep making them go bad ?

It has three lights on it , you test it by revving the engine , letting it idle . The lights will blink , stay on . I think when it blinks , its not working right , something like that , I have the little manual on it . Thanx for the help man .

Oh , yeah and you test it by piercing the wire slightly with a needle , it pierces it so slightly that when you take the wire off , you cant even see the hole . another part of the sensor hooks up to a ground .

Swap your burn off relay, it's probably what's frying every MAF you put in. Search the site for MAF and Vader, you'll find a cool little pic of where the relays are.
