Distributor cover.......
My car was missing it when I got it. So I got one off ebay, and planned on wetsanding it and polishing. So I get it today and its plastic 
Where all dist covers platic? I thought I seen them polished up on some cars

Corvettes had the aluminum ones.
someone makes a nice one that does not cover the distributor but just terminates at the end of the manifold.

Just go to a Chevy dealership and order one from a 1987 Corvette...thats what I did..if you can get it at cost its cheaper than what you'll pay on Ebay...
